i think black TT2's with polished lip would really set off your car.

Not sure if it's just the pics, but the paint looks kinda dull to me. Buff that shiz out! Wheels would definitely spruce it up. Looks good other than that. I'm not a fan of the painted pillar though..

Oh! idea: blackbird stripes would tie in that pillar and potential black wheels. Plus, they look fancy.

i love having a black top on my car, but only looks good on red and blue cars, and some white cars if they have black wheels.

I like it real well on Camaros. Firebirds just don't seem to have the right lines to pull it off IMO.

Keep the hood, the suncoast ones are ugly IMO. Black blackbird stripes. some kind of black wheels with a polished lip. CETA if you don't already have it. and not sure about this one but maybe get the mirrors painted black to match the pillar?

My friend has a car with similiar color to yours here it is. he has gunmetal wheels. it looks ok but would look alot better if the back ones had some lip to them...

not going to paint mirrors black theres a reason i didnt do it to begin with. how does the paint look dull you never seen pics of a tri coat paint? not going to change hood to ugly ass dual scoop was thinking wheels though mabee the old ar rebels. dont really care for tt2s just not for me. any accents i could add mabee chrome grills in hood scoop ect

Ditto. Leave that as-is, or maybe go for a little more bling on the wheels (like those machined faced thin spokes I posted recently). You car looks really really nice as-is though.

Looks great... don't do blackbird stripes. Too much. All I would do is put wheels on, lower it and give it the CETA mod. Those new machined C5's would look great on there (they're posted in the wheels section) and they're pretty cheap.

Less is more for me... so many people just throw appearance shit on their car without any discretion.

Edit: heres the thread with the machined C5's: http://ltxtech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7384 they look subtle and classy without being too "crazy" of a change from stock wheels.

So i take it you're against wheels and lowering? Thats pretty much all else you can do appearance wise traditionally... i like the black roof though. I have a hard time convincing people who paint their firebirds to do it.

Well, I'll tell you that if you just get band clamps for the headers and forget about a cutout, you won't really have any ground clearance issues. I have 3 inch all the way back... only time i scrape is because of the goddamn cutout that was welded at a terrible angle.

IMO: new wheels, and I would do the ram air hump black to tie in the roof that is ALL black.

here's a couple of pics i just took...the flange on the cutout is the crappiest part.

I just don't see why they can't make the y pipes fit better... I don't know why mine just has to go lower before it merges into the Y... I think there needs to be an entire exhaust overhaul for fbodies with longtubes that starts with a Y pipe that actually fits well. Really, none of it is terrible on clearance until I put other people in the car.
