I took the suspension apart tonight and im gonna b installing the springs this weekend. Any1 else run these and what should i expect when driving on the street. I dont drive it as much as i use to due to finally getting a DD last sept. Its sees outside the garage maybe 2-3 times a month. Also at the track what r results with it?

they preform good from the cars i have seen... but every one of the cars i have seen looks like it has a suspension lift with the torsion bars WAYYY too tight lol... be prepared to hate the stance :(

They worked well for me, it will make the car sit higher up if you less than stock weight. Completly leave the rear isolator out and that'll help some. Also if you have a heavy front end it won't be that bad. My front end didn't look that high till I deleted the AC, power steering, washer tank, etc.

My car looked almost like a 4 wheel drive. I managed to pull the same or better 60' times when I put the stock stuff back on before I got the new double adjustable stuff. (I also had more power then)

The rear is going to sit up a little.

THATS full weight, + d1sc blower kit, twin intercoolers, 15lb nitrous bottle in back, etc etc. heavy ass car.

Here it is with the rear isolators removed 100%, no heater hose or anything..

anyways, with the rear isolators removed its 100% improved. i say do that. it gives it a real raked stance still... but i may be a bit heavier in the nose because of the blower kit + fmic, etc.

the stock isolators are like 2 inches thick. heater hose is what... 3-4mm thick? you slide the heater hose over the top coil of the spring so its not metal / metal where the spring rides on the body. supposedly less noise also. i dont care.

Yup, just spray some WD40 in the hose before you attempt to slip it over the coil. Makes it much easier.

Does anyone have pics of the ride height after removing the isolators on a Drag Launch kit? Im about a day away from ordering a proline kit or summit -1.3" kit and drag bags for the rears, or the drag launch kit. And for now, I'm leaning for the lowering ones. 60 time is very important to me but so is the stance.... And I'm not buying a set of springs that make my 18s look worse than they do now.

First pic is with 305/45/18 Nitto 555Rs (for sale!), but i loved how they filled my quarter's well out even on stock springs...

Sec pic is right now with the 275/35/ BFG comp TA DRs.
