Hey guys I just got my plate system this past week and I got a few questions about installin some stuff on the bottle, on the pressure gauge there is a screw in the back where there should be an opening i would think (see pic below), also I got a automatic bottle heater and was wonfering if i whould mount the pressure sending unit on the bottle? there's 2 holes to put accessories.

Thats actually how the gauge is made. Im not sure what that is, a restriction maybe since its such high pressure.
I would mount the Bottle Pressure Switch in the bottle valve so your heater will get a reading even if the bottle is closed. If you have it in the feed line after the valve and you close the bottle and happen to have the heater on, it will continue to heat up, looking for pre-determined pressure. since there is no pressure in the lines with the valve closed(if you purged the lines out) it will think bottle pressure is low and heat up.

The only problem with having the pressure switch mounted in the bottle is you would have to buy a second switch if you want another bottle. Or if you try to borrow a bottle from a friend you might not have the presure switch in it.

I mounted my pressure switch with the universal swivel after the bottle nut. I then used a 1/4 turn ball valve so that I can run the bottle heater without having nitrous in the lines. This way the pressure sensor is controlling the bottle presure. I have no nitrous in the lines until after the burn out then I open the 1/4 turn ball valve.
