I'm going to start off by saying this... I love bikes (mainly rice rockets). I know a ton of good people that ride them. BUT... Lately I've been seeing way too many idiots driving them around on the streets.
I have a ton of respect for them and their potential. Theyre fast!
Let me explain what happened today..
I was with one of my buddies coming back from grabbing something to eat. Were leaving the parking lot and heading out to a road that connects to a main road. Theres 2 cars in front of me turning left, and nobodys in the right lane turning right. I hear a bike launch in the parking lot, ALMOST wipe out coming onto the street, then goes flying past the 2 cars in front of me in the right ane only to cut the guy in the front off. I think they may have knew eachother, but eitherway.. WHY!? Light turns green and the jackass launches his bike around the corner then is leaning off to the side to try to act cool as he's going streight down the road. We come up to a set of red lights and this idiot is sitting there reving his bike!! We all know you are riding a bike, stop before you blow the freaking thing up. Light turns green and this idiot is off again only to meet several cars in front of him... SOOO guess what he does!?! He freakin goes around them to get in front once again! Light turns green, and this tool box is off for the races, slows down, leans off to the side trying to act like he's speed-fucking-racer, then continues to swerve in and out of traffic, then goes through a red light and nearly caused an accident.
I just get pissed all the time when I hear bikers say "cars really gotta keep their eyes open for us on the roads!"... I know there are a ton of good riders out there who respect others on the road, but when I see dumb asses like this out there, it makes me mad. This isnt the first I've seen of this either. I know there are a ton of idiot car owners out there too... But its just sooo much more dangerous with a bike.
Thats my rant for the day.. I didnt mean to offend anyone if I did, but this just made me mad because I hear bikers say cars have to be more careful around them... I'm not classifying all bikers into this group, but just the few who are ruining it for everyone.
