Isnt it true that different branches have different age limits...
I know I tried to get a GO NO WHERE GUY in my township in with the marines and they said 30 was to old.... its a shame cuz he woulda been a great military guy... but now he is gonna give up and go back to the booz and crimes....

It also is dependant on what you want to do. Enlisted I think is 35. However officer qualifications differ depending on your career. Doctors and lawyers can be older than say if you wanted to be a pilot.
Talk to your local recruiter if you are getting up there in age. He should be able to tell you specifically the current requirements.
Just be carefull of a recruiters advise. They have quotas they have to make when it comes to filling jobs. And they will lie through their teeth telling you how wonderfull a specific career is, when in reality it is horrible, and thats why they are having a hard time filling it.

The Army is 42 but they're getting ready to go back down to 39 if I'm not mistaken.
