So I'm cruising at a quick clip down my favorite little back road. I'm coming into a medium right hander and I see what looked like some leaves on a stick kinda deal. I get within 10ft of it, my girlfriend yells at me, and I stab the brakes a bit and BLOP! I just steamrolled a squirrel. No big deal, until I hit my brakes. I only had about half of a pedal, and the car wasn't stopping right. I got to my girlfriends house, go in, watch some TV then decide we're going to get some carry out. I back the car out and the brakes were worse, I look and there is a big ass puddle of brake fluid in the driveway. It was under the rear/center of the car.
I haven't been able to look under the car, but I think that little bugger flew up and took out my rear brake line!
I'm going to get it towed home tomorrow to assess the damage.

Hell, the one I hit was dead before it took out my brake line. I prefer them alive because they usually get out of the way.

i was flying home after a car show one night and came up on a dead racoon doin about 70. didnt see it comin in time to swerve out of the way and BOOM as soon as i ran it over my car starts runnin like crap. so i pulled over right away and look under the car. the dam thing pulled one of my supercharger tubes off a fitting. Limped on home and fixed it the next day. Im so lucky it didnt screw anything else up.
