A couple nights ago I was leaving the parents house to head home, they live just barely outside of town, and it's where most of the country like people live. So anyways, I'm sitting at the light waiting to turn onto the highway, I'm the second car and can tell that I have a newer dodge diesel behind me. Light goes green, the first car sticks to the left lane, and I go to the right, barely squeezing on it looking in the mirror, and squeeze a little more and notice that the truck is staying close, so I keep squeezing up till about 65ish, then maintain. I notice that there is a 05-06ish silverado behind him, so I slow down some so they can both get around me and the car we're coming up on that's in the left lane, I'm pretty tired and not really looking for anything. Then when they go past me, BOTH trucks, black smoke me throwing out a little cloud, now I've rode around with my buddy who has a 05 dodge dually with a programmer, so I know what the black smoking means, and I say, oh hell NO!. We end up lining up three wide (goes from 4 lanes to six when you get in the city), at a light, light goes green we roll out 5 feet maybe, and mat it. The duramax is next to me and I can tell he spins some after the turbo spooled, and I just held it. By top of second my back bumper was just out infront of his front and I'm pulling little by little. So we let off, and end up catching the next light, do it again, cept no spinning for the dirtymax, and it just ended up a little bit worse for him, don't know how the cummins did cuz I never saw except after we let off, guess it was hard for him to hang. I was very impressed with the duramax, and was really happy to give it to him good after he blacksmoked me. This definately did not go down where I wanted it to, and it was really stupid and we got really lucky, but it was very fun. Damn, that was long, sorry guys.

cliff notes for the lazy- 06+Cummins and a 06ish Dirtymax thought they'd pick on and take the bird, and they were wrong, both runs.

I know how you feel, normally I'm pigeon-holed into situations like that too. None the less, it's nice to remind people who the boss is.

there's a few fast one's around, three I can think of, two wont play on the street, and the third is a 7.3 with propane and nitrous, so I don't try. I'm temped to go out and drive around and find them to talk to them, find out whats done, though I may get hated on, oh well.

I got a 7.3 that fucks up most anything from a dig on the street. If whatevers fast though it'll come around me half track. The first 1/8 it's hard to touch.

The only thing that leaves the hole with me are the WRX's bouncing off the limiter.

Nice kills though. Our cars come alive on the top end compared to a big heavy truck.

When I get my car back together I want to have my buddy drive my truck and me drive the camaro and race. Should be fun :-D

It's amazing how with just a computer tune those trucks can move out. I've seen both truck running around since then, but's they're either going the other way or sitting in a parking lot. I'm still wanting to catch up to one of them and talk to them.
