The tint on my Tails is a little dark... so I was thinking about getting LED bulbs. Is there anything else taht is necessary when I would put these in my car?
Thanks!

Yes. You'll need to put resistors in the wiring. The LED's use less voltage than the stock bulbs, and the car will interpret this as a blown bulb, causing the "Hyper-flash" syndrome and possibly your cruise not to work.

Eh... so is there anyway to get brighter bulbs with out screwing with the wiring to do LEDs?

I think the resistors would only be needed when replacing turn signals / rear lights with LEDs. I have done an entire interior and exterior LED swap.

If you intend to use the LED towers to simply plug in and go, you can also swap your thermal flashers near the steering column with electronic units. You'll need two (one for turn signals and one for hazzards), and can pick it up for a few bucks at Autozone. I am not on my computer, so I can't check to be sure, but I think it's a Tridon EL12.

Not sure if I want to, I just sanded some of the tint off so you can actually see my tails now.
