Ran a 12.55 at 112 on a less than stellar set of street tires (Firestone SZ50s). Can't wait to see what it will do on the set of MT ETstreets (315/35/17) sitting in the garage. :clover:

It 'should" knock about .2-.3 off of that possibly lower. Those big MT's have ZERO sidewall to them, so don't expect them to hook and yank the front wheels though. My friend has them on his Stang and can destroy them out of the hole.

Hmm.... with that mod list I would of thought it should run easy 11s at 120ish mph.
Is it dyno tuned? How were the 60fts and weather when you ran it?

somethings a bit off with those mods producing that time/mph

Wow, I didn't see the actual mods. Something is way off with that or you are in Denver. That car should be flying with those mods.

Low 90's with a DA of 2200. My biggest problem right now is the tires. I've got a set of ET streets that I just need to slap on. I'll be happy with mid to high 11's on the motor, but the motor was built with a 300 shot in mind (GM847 cam, forged 11.0-1 pistons). I'm thinking about swapping on a set of the new AFR 195 LT4 heads and the matching Edlebrock intake before hooking up the nitrious. It's still not laying down as much hp at the wheels as it should (around 360 w/35000 stall and 3.73 gears). Maybe I can get it worked out this year.

Don't waste your money on the Edlebrock intake. Less plenum volume than the stocker, and it definitely doesn't outperform. Just weld up the runners on teh LT1 intake and call it a day.
Do you have any headwork done to the heads currently on the 396??? If not, then I'd say your times are good as you're making killer tq but just not getting there on power due to the choke factor.

Very true Sean! If he has unported stock heads its killing his HP/times. With a similar sized cam on the bone stock short block my car made 415 RWHP with stock ported heads and intake although Im a M6. If your heads are ported I would expect alot more.

:claps: They are slightly proted stock heads. Seems like I'm spinning to much at the start and running out of air down track. I've got the tires to fixing all the spinning, but it looks like I have to drop some serious coin for the heads.

I would look into LE or AIs head porting then,. Those stockers are killing your that wicked motor!!!
