You might need slightly larger injectors, depending on which cam you end up using.
You don't want to push those 30s beyond 80-85% duty cycle.

meh it'd have to be a pretty decent size cam, IMO.

With everything you're looking to change...your goals might be a little short. Done right that should be an 11sec setup:devil: (and then some on spray)
I wouldnt put the cage in until you absolutley need it, adds alot of wieght plus its not cheap.
If you stay in the 12s...high 11s...your rearend and trans will thank you!

Yeah materials isnt whats expensive...its the labor for install that kills you. Its tough to get a cage installed for any less than $900-$1k around here...materials, installed.

so you think 12.0s will be able to get to with just motor? I would really rather not run spray, but would if the need be..
My trans im not to worried about, its pretty much built to withstand anything and only have 500 miles since the build on it. The rear end is a different story. lol:laugh:

You'll end up running spray because you will get use to the power too fast:D.
You are going to want to put some cash away for a new rear end. Sub 1.5 second 60' launches and stock 10 bolts don't agree for very long. Then throw on your slicks and you have a recipe for parts carnage.
I am shooting for VERY high 10's or WAY LOW 11's on motor only. Over winter get a Dana S60 rear and 10 point chromoly cage. Helps that I have been TIG welding for 15 years)Then the 300 HP direct port NX system.
Overall goal is for somewhere in the 9's.
