I'm trying to figure out how to do this. I read all the threads on ls1tech for monsoons, and I was trying to figure out if it would be the same procedure for my 1993 previously BOSE head unit equipped system. What do I tap into?
Thanks

I think it would be the same. You will have to open up the radio and see if you have wires coming from the CD unit or if it has the flat ribbon on the CD unit, you will be cutting the right and left channel output signal from the CD unit before it goes into the circuit board and wiring the AUX jack between the path of the right and left audio signal, so that when the AUX input jack has an MP3 player or whatever plugged into it opens the signal path from the CD unit and the sound is sent from your MP3 or whatever to the Radio.I just did mine a couple of days ago and mine had the ribbon,it was much more difficult to work with the ribbon style but it can be done.I mounted my AUX input jack in the face of the Radio. This was such a cool thing to do to factory Radio and it sounds great. If I can help just send me a PM.

Go to your local TWEETER and have them print you a wiring diagram....
