wheel question

ok i have a 93 z28 and i just put the 10 spoke ss wheels on off the 00-02 ss camaros.i was told i would need to grind the hub down for them to fit correctly.Well i grinded the drivers side but not the passenger side,but it doesnt look like much of a difference if any...

all the wheels i have used except for the new ZR1's i got had to be ground on a little. Mine is a 1993 too.

It would be better to file down the hub center on the wheels, not the axle. IIRC the rear axle hubs are .25mm larger on '93 to early '96's and the wheels need to be lightly ground tested to check for fitment. The wheel should fit up square with no problem, if you have to force it on or it "wobbles" side to side you haven't filed enough off. A normal half round file works great. I just put powdercoated 10 spoke SS wheels on my '93 about a week ago. I had to file a little more to get through the powdercoating. Good luck!
