12 bolt (strange), 9" or S60 car is 95% street every day use, driven to work and 5% track/screwing around.
wonder what you guys are running in your higher HP cars and your experince with the company/ and the product you got
im around the 700rwhp mark

hmm, I'd say you could get away with using the 12-bolt. They're all strong, and all much stronger than the 10 bolt, but the 12-bolt is probably the weakest out of those three. That said, it'll also have the least amount of added power loss, since it is the lightest overall.
So I think that as long as you can control yourself, and not be doing 4000+rpm clutch dumps every other day, you should go for the 12-bolt.

Moser 12 Bolt here. I'm completely satisified with it. S60 seems to be a good deal too.

If this is a thread hijacking then tell me to GTFO but what are the differences between the strange and moser 12 bolt rears. Ill be swapping my 10 bolt out for something here in the near future.

No clearance issues, really no issues whatsoever.

at the 700 hp level i would think you would want/need a better driveshaft anyway. once you fix one weak link the next one will pop up. that is unless you already have a stronger ds.

if i go S60 i will need a new drive shaft. if i was to go 12 bolt id stick to an ls1 unit for now. i should not have enought traction to brake any thing or so i hope

If you are pushing 700 to the wheels already, I'd go with the S60. The 12 bolt starts to reach its limit around 800. And if you plan on pushing that much power into a built rear end through an aluminum driveshaft, you're just asking for trouble. It doesn't take much to twist them up like a pretzel.

so at 700rwhp kinda deal. the 12 bolt is nearing its very limits?
