So you guys were really helpful before, but now I have another question.

I couldn't find the words to describe it, so I just drew a picture. The Ram Throwout Bearing is really weird by the way.

So your TOB isn't perfectly circular? Because I've had 2 RAM clutches, and both were perfectly round, not like you describe. Can you post up a picture?

Here's an old one for reference:

Mine is in the car, so it'd be damn near impossible to take a picture.

Most of it is round, but then it has like one point/edge. It's really weird. I think I was able to get it though - I'll know for sure once the slave goes back in.

ALL are tear drop shaped to keep them from wearing out the fork (spec excluded for their crap square one). but really it shouldnt matter which way you install it, either way it will only turn so far before it wedges itself on something to keep the outer bearing from turning(yes it NEEDS to do this)
