How do I determine where exactly some front end road noise is coming from? Driving in a straight line.. sometimes i will hear a "wurrr" sometimes I won't.. I don't think it's the tires. how would I determine what part is causing the road noise?

Sometimes it's better to have another person in the car to assist. If you still can't find out what it is, or which side of the car....try having someone else drive with you in the passenger seat.

Otherwise, just try rolling down the window and see if that help you hear where it's coming from

I mean, i've had people with me and verified they heard it. But the only thing we can think of is "its coming from the front". I have replaced outer tie rod ends and had a recent alignment. Tires look/feel smooth with at least 50% tread left.

When was the last time you had the tires balanced? I did that once on an old car and it really cut down on the road noise.

If you suspect it's the tires, you can try rotating them and see if the noise changes

yea check if the tires are balanced correctly... if not, in some cars the wheel bearings being worn can cause you to hear the rotation

See, I heard the same noise when I had my Sportline springs and the wheels were cambered inwards (not sure if positive or negative) and then I put on WS6 springs, wheels were cambered outward, and then now with an even camber. I still hear the same road noise

Same, unbalanced wheels tho in both situations?

I would get your wheels balanced, or just try rotating them. If that doesn't work, possibly your bearings. Is your car a manual? Does it roll smoothly/freely with the clutch in when on an incline? If not, may be the bearings
