Made a few passes at the sport compact event with the TA, they agreed to let me make 3-4 but that was it since there wasnt many people there. Track prep was marginal, and i was on my street tires. Good news is nothing broke and it was a shitload of fun. Filled up with gas, drove there, raced and came back home managed to get 24.8mpg even. Got vid too they are uploading at the moment
1st run, left soft and hit it about 50' out, as you can see the car is pretty rich and has about 16* timing, peak boost was 9.2lbs. Shifted at 6k-6200.

Second run i left a bit harder, it spun more but the 330 was alot better since i came on power earlier, and shifted at 6500ish and peak boost was 9.8

Fourth and final pass i hotlapped it in since they were closing the gates, figured i would try it with hot tires and see what happened. Didnt get vid of it camera card was full. Shifted at 6800 and launched it at 4k, smacked the throttle and held it at 6500 all the way through first. It worked somehow spinning so what the hell

you would think so, but just adding slicks or DRs would pull a full second off my 1/8 mile time, and be a bottom 11 or high 10 very easy. I was leaving very soft and with the stock heads this huge blower is like a turbo. I dont pass the surge line until 3500 so its quite laggy if i leave soft. With DRs on the street i launch at 4k and it dead hooks, on a track i think i could drop the clutch at 5500. here i was leaving on maybe 3400 at most. I could have dropped the fuel pressure 8psi to lean it out but i didnt have the wideband in there, that would have gained me 2-4mph and 2/10ths. It was just for fun as the guy thats buying it wanted a timeslip, and it was only $35 for the whole weekend!
