I plan on adding in some gauges and I wanted to know if you guys would post some pics of what gauges you have and how you have them mounted so I could get some ideas. Once again, thanks in advance! :D

the oil, temp, and trans temp won't help you much. as mine is a t/a. but i mounted an aem wideband with a 1 gauge pod and an msd tach/shift light right to the top of the dash..

Not quite as nice as the previously posted pic. The Mustang gauge pod on the dash houses a fuel pressure gauge and a narrowband A/F (never even bothered to hook it up as it will be replaced with a wideband). The 6LE panel in the console has oil and tranny temp gauges. I have since upgraded all of the lighting to LEDs so it matches the dash. Also, the Scanmaster was installed in to the vent.

is the scanmaster worth the money?

If you can find a used one, I would say it is definitely worth it. Don't think I'd pay full price though as they are pretty expensive. ScanMasters will occasionally show up on one of the forums (I got ripped off twice through sellers on LS1tech) or eBay, but are not a common item for sale these days.

What exactly do they do?

It'll show you a number of different readings including any trouble codes. See the following for the manual:

The manual gives you the basics on the last page, but I have found a more in depth explanation here:

I just moved mine to the Pillar from the console. I was gonna add my N20 pressure gauge to the console and the arming switches.. but i sold the spray. I like the Gauges on the pillar, i have a WB A/F and a Fuel Pressure. DOnt really need either now, but they look good.

Also mounted my stand alone shift light to the steering column.

I am still holding out for whoever it was that was working on a triple gauge pillar for hard tops.

Phstratton, an LT1 ScanMaster was listed on LS1tech a few minutes ago.
