opinion on wheels needed.

Those were replaced with current wheels (see sig) which are 16" chrome TA wheels that I got for $300, tires included.

Then I got the idea in my head that I wanted black 17"x9.5/11 Zr1s.. which might look something like this (photoshopped):

These wheels, however, are kinda pricey. Also, the tires are more expensive and won't last as long. To be completely honest.. the zr1s would end up costing more than what I payed for the car... which was 1k. I love the look though.

So, opinions? Is it worth it or should I hold onto my chrome which I think looks pretty decent as well. Or is there something else that would look better?

believe it or not that one inch makes a difference in looks. you could always try TT2's :D they look good on about any fbody. haha.

there is a purple ta here that has black C5 Y2Ks on it and it looks pretty sick. wonder what those would look like on your car?

just clutters up the look of the car. might as well be putting type R stickers on the side. the bra looks gross too, but if the paint underneath is total shit, then i'd leave it.

it'd look killer with the roof painted black as well if you went with those wheels. tires aren't that much either. find a set of used 275/40/17's and get two sumitumo 315's ($100/each).

Formula door decals came factory on 2nd and 3rd generations. The stickers are more of an homage to them. I think they look way better on the car than how it was before. They're not even that big or an extreme color.

IMO speedlines only look good on WS6 TA's the 17" WS6 ABS wheels look AWESOME on lowered LT1 formys... i like the car but the blue and black makes it look dull, chrome will make it look fake... polished goes great with the blue

Alot of 93/94 Formulas also came from the factory with the side Formula Stickers. I dont like the pinstripe though car would look much better without them.

i got my black deep dish zr1s from OE for a little under a grand with tires. They have polished and silver painted ones too. I think silver looks better on blue cars...

Thanks for all the suggestions. Hm, where's lt1noob--Doesn't he have black zr1s? His car reminds me of mine in that the colors are kind of in the same range. Kind of that medium to dark.. but still colorful, if you know what I mean :) That car looks killer with them though.

Also, the pinstripe stays! it was on the car when I got it.. it's really not that noticeable in person. It's kind of faded and you can see the outline of a couple Pontiac Racing decals towards the end of it. Trust me, it's cool.
