ok i have this idea. my friend dumped this car at my house, and i told him id buy it for 100 bucks. its a 1990 crx si. whatever that means. its stick, and has an authentic fart can on it. basically all i know. apparently it has god like mods according to the honda community. i drove it once and its slow as balls, and really small. i accually think i wrecked the oil pan comming into my driveway. i wanna drive it around as a joke, all riced out, with "my other car isnt a shitty honda" on the back window. i figured itd be funny, acting like a ricer revving a fart can. now would it be funny, especially if i put up a thread everyweek or so, about something hilarious i did in this stupid car, or would i just be a ricer? cause that i do not want. eventually ill sell it to some tool who thinks its amazing, and hopefully make my money back. whadya guys think?

BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF THE CAR! It will take it. It might not be the fastest thing around, but ill give Honda one thing, they build a damn strong car.

EDIT: I miss my 88' accord :( . Ive never had a car that took the abuse that thing did. I remember last winter with it, -44 *celcius, not plugged in. PUmped the pedal a few times, fired up but wouldnt idle. I kept it to the floor for like a minute until it would idle properly. Never laughed so hard in my life. Good times.

I wish I could find a car that runs for $100! I'd have soooo much fun with it! I'd be taking it off roading, cutting it and making it a convertable, and just overall beat the crap out of it. You are sooo lucky! As for ricing it out... I wouldnt and drive it on the street like that. :laugh: I'd be way tooo embarassed, but for beating the shit out of it, definately rice it out! I'd make tons of new gadgets out of wood for the body.

dd or sell take a pic of the engine and i might be able to tell you basically what you are looking at engine wise. crx's are rare now, and si is like the ss of those year hondas. i kinda like them but just dont get in a crash as those cars weigh around half our cars.

Damn, I got ripped off. I paid $200 for my Civic and had to put a motor in it :(

But its paid off well as it gets 48-52mpg lol.

That CRX looks about as stock as they get. Surprised the floorboards are rusted out of it.

Sounds like the struts could be locked up. My Civic rides just fine.

Keep in mind that car only weighs in about 2000 lbs. You're gonna feel everything the road has to offer.
