yup we got to run yesterday after being rained out saturday. I went two rounds in 'Pro' and three in the cash bash.

No N2o runs. When I removed the FJO controler I hooked one of the wires to the wrong spot. SO much for working upside down under the dash. I pulled half the dash apart and the passenger seat out last night so I could see WTF was going on. Re-wrote the wiring diagram and found it right away.

The car is deadly consistant. I dropped a .016 Package the first round in 'Pro' that got some attention :D Next round my foot slipped on the brake pedal and I rolled in to deep. Two bulbs but deep enough that even with a .027 light I ran .08 off my dail and lost.

So I waited around and they started a cash bash. I warmed up a bottle and got the car ready. I dailed a 10.0 just for kicks so I did not have to suit up. I pulled up and did my burn out and pulled near the line. I hit the arm switch and the car died and would not restart. I finally got it restarted but she was not hitting on all cylinders. I staged it and when the tree came down I launched the car to its slowest 60ft all day(1.50) I was going to be WAY off my dail so I reached down and hit the arm switch again but nothing happened. The car ran a 11.16@119. Amazingly the guy red lite against me(memories of my first round win in his head maybe) I got back to the pits and figured to hell with it The plugs are fouled and the juice won't go off lets see what it will do the rest of the cash bash.

They called us back to the lanes about 20 minutes later so I dialed a 11.04. The car felt ok coming out of the hole but sluggish(.050 light) but I nipped the guy right at the lights for the win. I went back to the lanes and did the math the plugs were slowing the car down about a tenth. I like to dail tight and cut a good light and I figured I was just getting free passes to get back in racing shape.

When they called us for the next round I dailed a 11.11 and found the guy on the ladder....a 15.86 second car. I am getting pretty good at being ready at the tree so it did not bother me much. We get pulled up fast as we paired up quick. I do the burn out and the car feels like it has cleaned out a little. Happy times I got a chance! I stage as shallow as I can just flickering the light then grabbing the T-brake and letting go of the brake for the roll in. His light comes down and I am at 2k rpm. My top Yellow comes down and I go to the floor off the limiter. My last bulb comes on and the bitch dead hooks(had been shaking on the cold track) I am off And it feels pretty good. I snatch 2nd clean and look down the track to see the win light on in his lane :( about that time the shift light comes on and I grab third clean. I go by him about 1200 ft and think "If I had not red lite I could lift right now and win" but I run it out the back door to a 11.105 on a 11.11 dail. I red lite by 0.003 :(

I had a great time and got to see alot of people. Alot of people were asking if I was going to run points next year and where. Yes I do plan on running for points but I am not sure where yet. PR is closer and has less races but I like Bremerton. We will see.

OH YEAH. the N2O problem was from when I removed the FJO controler I pluged the arming wire in the wrong socket. instead of the arming socket I plugged it into the TPS socket. Doug and I will be testing it this week

LOL GOD DAMN IT I expect the freaking N2O to fire some day!

Before it was 1.4 seconds faster with the 82 jet. We upped it to a 88 jet and gained 40hp at the tires.

So all thing being equal IF I ever get the damn thing to fire on juice and the nose stays down under 4 feet I expect it to run at least a 9.6-9.7 ;) Maybe faster :D

Hahaha, your doing killer man.... Wish I had a setup like that to bring with me :D

You dont need track times, just show up... Drag the bumper, and leave... You cant tell me you STILL wouldent be the talk of the town :D

I'm an industrial electrician, kinda we build custom machines at work all the time and I wire the the panels. So my job duties are more then wiring. But I'm sad to say with the the 8 relays I wired into the car I got one of them wrong. I made what I thought was going to be a nitrous pass and it was all motor. An hour later I had it figured out.

I'm going to rewire the junk I just put in the car to simpify the wiring and timer issues. I ordered a PLC or a programable logic controller to handle the nitrous in the car. Timers in between stages or off the brake. This is going to be quite to system when finished. But it will be able to data log the runs. I'm talking AFR, RPM, tire speed, car speed, The data will be able to measure drivetrain slippage, tires spin.

Well i was trying to make life easier but I am back to the K.I.S.S. System ;)

Biggest problem is placement. . . . Where the Air bag used to be and pass floor board ;) It was not a problem until that damn door bar went in LOL!

It should be all beter but I got a feeling the next engine will be to the limits of the NHRA Chassis cert :D
