As in a kit? No. Has it been done? Yes. Not easily, but wow. Here's some good reading.

SUPPOSEDLY (as in a recent GMHTP issue) the manufacturer of the aftermarket ZR1 styled roots blower has an application for the LTx. Surprised it hasn't been mentioned here before actually......

I remember seeing that as well, so I did some searching. Apparently it was a custom job by Dragon Race Engineering on one of their own cars. Some guys at LS1Tech have been calling them, and supposedly a kit will be coming out for the LT1 soon. I didn't find anything on their site though.

I never really understood the passion for a roots style blower. I guess on the pluss side you get boost faster than a centrifugal style blower and there is no lag like in a turbo. However, its a heat soaking monster right in the place you need heat the least, and is the least effecient way of making boost all together. Personally I much prefer the scream of a powerful blower car like this;

Or the sound of a turbo car like this;

I would be interested in a roots blower if I was interested in superchargers simply because a 4th gen procharger or similar supercharger kit usually won't work in a 3rd gen because the kit will hit the steering, frame, or something like that.

You can always make room man. Besides that I am quite sure I have seen Prochargers under the hood of 3rd gens before, but I could be wrong...
