Im just wondering was the stiffest factory spring for a 4th gen?
Id also kind of like to know what came on what models - did springs change with the switch to LS1?
I am assuming I want either SS springs or 1LE springs - but then ive heard of 1LE SS cars so are 1LE springs stiffer than SS?
if someone could fill me in id appreciate it. Id like to change springs when I redo my suspension (and I dont want to lower my car).
Think the 350 rate is the heaviest.

1LE are the stiffest 96/97 1LE/WS6/SS cars had them.
LS1 WS6/SS had the same as the reg TAs/Z28s with a few lucky cars getting the 1LEs

Will the SS springs fit a formula? I am putting coilovers out front and don't really want to lower it but was considering the bmr springs that only lower it 1". So the SS springs would be perfect for me at 3/4".

SLP sells mine (Blistein Level II) at slponline.com. Not sure about the regular springs. I'd call a GM dealership and ask the Parts Dept.
