Hey guys got my oil pan off my m6 car with the engine still in. Anyways took the old pump off and found out why it was not giving pressure. The bolts that hold the screen part of the pump backed out and made a huge hole. Anyways when I was under there I decided to check the main bearings and got same bad news. Cylinders 1,2,3,and 4 are going out or gone. So now its rebuild time. So I need to get some part numbers. So I am going to need new cam bearings, new rod bearings, and piston rings. What else should I change out. I am going to get the crank checked out. The pistons/rods should be able to be reused right. Is there anything else I will need minus gaskets.

Your machine shop can set you up with the correct bearings. It's probably a good idea to let them assemble it, at least the short block if this is your first time doing an engine rebuild. Every shop will have their own brand of bearing they prefer and select ones that are best suited for your application. As long as they are ok you rods and pistons can be reused but with the reasonable prices and added stregenth of I beam rods and aftermarket pistons I reccomend going that direction. If your budget won't allow it at a minimum have the cylinders honed and get new rings.
