Looking for LT4 valvecovers, been looking for awhile and cant seem to find any. If you know anyone selling, let me know.
If you even know of any sites that sell them I would be down for paying a little extra, just so I can finally get them...
So post up, PM, something! Help me out! :D

I think you can still get them new from GM. I just missed a set on LT1Tech a few weeks ago, dude sold them for $75. KILLER deal.

Scratch that. Quick search on CamaroZ28 turned up the fact that they have indeed been discontinued.
I've got a spare set of clearanced LT1 covers if you want them cheap. :D I'll even put plastic coating on them so they quieten down the valve train like the LT4's. :jest:

I will have to call my friend in Norwood tomorrow and see if he can get me a good price, if not I will see if someone here can find em for me. The dealerships around here are rape though, I wouldent be susprised if you guys can get em for $240 and I have to pay like $350 lol. Too bad I dont get my little GM company discount anymore either, but I dont miss that too much :D
EDIT : Hahaha, honestly at this point I could take you up on that offer :D

LT4s are made of composite (plastic deal) and keep the rocker "sewing machine" tick you get when upgrading to the GMPP 1.6 RRs. They look great in the engine bay and keep the noise down a little more than the stockers.

Shouldnt have told me that.........:devil::devil::devil:
Jk like like the sound of rockers and I want canton or polished ones:metal:

Yeah those are definitely alot better looking than the LT4s, but all I am really going for is to make the rockers not even noticeable. I think the canton covers would do the same thing my stockers are doing...

Yeah, I remember the parts department being all over the place :D
Not only that, but their database will show things that arent there either. Fun.
Thanks again for looking for me man, any idea how much they might cost?

When you buy the covers straight from GM, you get all the mounting stuff aswell correct? The sites I saw selling them were overpricing the covers and selling the mounting stuff seperate.
Better than what some site I saw was selling them for, $320.00 and I dont even know if they still had them. Somewhere around $250.00 is much more reasonable than $320.00 or more.

:) I happened to see those as soon as they hit the board, and immediately sent PM to him. sealed the deal just a couple minutes before you posted up asking about them. They have some misc. minor scuffs/scratches here and there and did not come with any hardware, had to pick up all the fasteners which aren't the cheapest from GM when you just walk into a dealership to get them. The covers did come with the crankcase vent grommet, fastener seals, some cover seals and the Mobil oil cap though. All in all they look nice and it was a decent deal I think for some used covers. I do feel lucky I was able to snag them quickly, these don't pop up as often as other items do. Sorry! :jest:
Do any of you know if there are any oil cap options other than the Mobil cap? I don't run Mobil 1 and would like it if my cap was just blank. I may try to strip it off there but the cap seems to be mint and I hate to do that to a good one. Before anyone asks that hasn't seen them together - No, an LT1 cap won't work. The threads are completely different. The LT4 cap doesn't even really have "threads" as compared to the LT1 caps.
If I run across any more covers I'll be sure to post up. I'm sure you look the same places I do though. Sometimes it's just seeing an item as soon as they are posted. I can only think of a couple times I have seen LT4 covers last more than a few minutes on the boards over the years. Good luck on your search.
