I am posting this for a buddy just pm me for his number if you want to know more about the car thanks.
For sale is a 1997 Chevy Camaro Z28. 93,000 on the clock. Bought it with 67,000. Car appeared to have been garaged and well cared for. A Village Chevrolet rep said the previous owner stated that most the miles were highway. I would say around 15-18k put on by me were highway miles by me if not more. The seats have the 30th logo on them, stock. Rear Sumitomo HTR-Z tires have around 55% tread left I think. No burnouts have been done on them, they just wear fast (160 tread rating). Car weighs 3300lbs without the back seats on stock/rims tires, and 4 gallons of gas.
The engine is strong and the transmission has never skipped a beat. It was dyno'd twice by Andy of Dynotune and made 259/291 with intake/exhaust. A year later it made 307/310 with cam/rockers/headers and 391/397 on a 125 shot (bottle was cold, could see more hp/tq). It has a pcmforless tune and runs great on it. A dyno tune you could probly see more. Both dyno's were on his mobile dynojet. I have both dyno sheets.
Paint is good, could be better. I'm picky. Has door dings and a couple dents from previous owner. Passenger side taillight has a little piece missing on the outermost part and a dent is there. Underbody has been painted black and also underbody spray has been used. Surface rust spots underneath have been taken care of. The hood has had a rusting issue in the very front on the underside. I sanded, rust morted, primed, and touch up painted it. I'll get some pics, it's not bad though and people rarely spot it. Rear fenders have been rolled, primed, touch up painted, clear coated. Can't tell it's been done unless you stick your head under there. Front blinkers, side markers, taillights have been nightshaded. Does not interfere with operation. Rims are spraybombed black with 3 coats and 4 coats of clear...could use a respray..
Interior is clean and has some scrapes in places and whatnot (like the side of the middle compartment from belts etc), but the dash is in about perfect shape I would say. Carpet is clean, I think there maybe 1 or 2 small cig holes somewhere..I think one is by the driver side seat nearest the door. Front passenger seat is in great condition. Driver side has wear in the common left bolster. It has been fixed with that seat fixer crap. It isn't coming apart or anything and isn't that bad. I'll get pics. Rear seats are in good shape. Side windows are tinted 20%.
Comes with a pioneer deck can't remember model right now..will post, stock speakers in front and middle, and 2 6x9 pioneers in the back.
This car is not for tree hugging hippies who want 40mpg and to be slow as **** in their gay econo car.
This car will attract the bitches (the wife hates that). If you want to go fast for cheap, fix shit for cheap, fbody's are the way to go. If you want a car that is fast, sounds mean, turns heads, gets compliments, whoops ricer ass, drinks gas and shits nitrous this is the car for you.
It gets around 15-18mpg in town, 18-25mpg highway. It takes premium gas. I observed 22mpg on a trip to Iowa and to the cities being nice to it, passing cars sometimes. Car has a torque converter lockup switch. I would trust this car to drive anywhere. My guess on performance in the 1/4 would be a low 13/high 12 on motor/ low 12 high 11 on the 125 shot. I have a couple other jets for a 100 shot I think. The nitrous system is hidden pretty good, people have a hard time finding it.
I am trying to be brutally honest about this car so people know what they are buying, unlike other sellers who pawn off junk (not referring to people on this site). I have not fixed the small issues (oil leak, slow window, squeek because I am going to school and work right now and I feel overloaded. The window and squeek are very recent. The oil leak started right after the cam swap in the back of the intake because the design is ****ing dumb and I should have used a different RTV. Highbeam just started this bs where it doesnt want to come on.. haven't looked at it, but people wreck these cars all the time so theres shittons of parts everywhere.
Car would come with ttop plastic mounts for the back (nitrous bottle is there) ttop shade inserts, spare tire/jack, rear seats, stock radio, other stuff..
People who know me know I keep this car clean and it has only been seen dirty a couple times. I have kept it in the condition that I bought it. It has wax on it and is only applied after the previous wax has shown to wear off. I use turtle wax ice.
Asking 7,000 with the nitrous kit. I'd like to hang onto the drag rims, but pictures will be shown of what it looks like on them.
