The swap will be in my 93 TA, any input is appreciated. The car should be in the 390-400RWHP range on motor, I would hope more on nitrous. Any case the parts I have or in near possession of include: 16K mile T-56, Bell housing, pedal assembly, assembled cross member with ES mount on it, lower shift boot, clutch fork, complete 2002 ebony center console with upper boot already in it. I’m going to buy all new hydraulics, seen online new prebled GM assemblies for $160-170. For the clutch I’m planning to use a Spec 3+ with a steel fly wheel. Shifter I’m undecided, leaning towards a Hurst Comp Plus. I was reading about the torque arm bushing but that isn’t issue since the torque arm I have mounts directly to the cross member. I have read the six speed swap guides and plan to pick up the bolts and stuff they have listed. I’m going to use the Dakota Digital box to correct for the speedo. The trans I’m getting has cags since it isn’t a 93, my car is, so I shouldn’t have to mess with it correct? Any advice?

We'll document the process, the auto I have now still works, so I hope I can hold off till the Fall. I haven't even driven the car since the h/c swap in march, chasing down issues and working off shore hasn't helped. Going to try and get it driving this time back home.

This is the write-up I followed. I know it's not for 93, but a lot should be similar. I didn't wire up my CAGS, and had it deleted from the PCM when flashed for a 6 speed.

Same here. It doesn't have ALL the info you need though. Look on CamaroZ28.com. There is tons of extra info on there, although I could probably answer any questions. Except wiring, I only know how to do it on OBD2 cars.

Picked it up this weekend, dropping it off Wednesday to get the typical stage II rebuild done on it.

i did mine without a writeup, if you know anything about the cars youll know what to do... if you cant do it without it then you need to stop and rethink it to begin with lol. all you need is basic knowledge
