I wanted some tips and advice before I tried this but who runs 2 fuel pumps in a factory tank? I've heard of it but I've never seen what kind of modifications you need to do to make it work. I can figure out the fuel lines but another big question is the wiring. Are the people doing this running another hot wire to the pumps? It seems like the factory wiring would have to much of a load on it to run 2 pumps. I may be wrong.:hmm:

Lots of PA cars run 2 pumps. I have 2 walbro's on mine. Speed inc sells a volt booster adpt but i just have the 2 pumps y together in the tank. I am running 1 pump and the second is like a safety valve in my setup. Not hard to do and I can suggest cutting the access panel in the rear to access the pumps thru the car vs pulling the rear out of the car.

Any pics would be great. I've always ran one 255 pump even with 10lbs of boost and nitrous. But I want to add another pump just to be safe.

Sorry, I do not have any pics but its just 2 pumps vs the one pump in the tank?

Well I guess I might as well give it a shot. Doesn't seem like it would be that hard.

Good links. I read them both and that pretty well answers all my questions. Thanks

I have the Racetronix dual intank setup using stock lines. Its actually pretty plug-and-play. You supply your own harness. The setup is run off a hobbs switch so the second pump comes on under boost. its a pretty straightforward setup. If you have an access panel in your hatch, it'll be an even easier install.

Where can you buy a hobbs switch?
