Did I mess up???

OK so im in he middle of a head gasket change and I pulled the rocker arms and took out the push rods. Then I look in the hayes book u know the book that tells u how to do things on your car... And it said keep them in order and I also did a search on this site and people say keep them in order to put them back in the way they came out.... Did I screw up or does it really matter how they go back in......

Keep what in order? The pushrods or the rockers?

Pushrods definitely doesn't really matter.

Rockers aren't too big a deal, either way you need to readjust the valves so I don't see it affecting too much.

My bad! Yeah I was talking bout the pushrods. I thought so because they were all the same size so I was wandering if it really mattered.. Thanks.....

Some people might say that they make a wear pattern into the lifters and such specific to each rod but it really doesn't matter
