yeh, yeh...another LSx car, but figured some might appreciate the results

We seen some nice results from a 08 G8 GT we completed a cam package on and tuned today.

non DOD cam conversion

-SI custom cam w/ low 230's duration and low 600 lift
-Kooks 1 7/8 w/ no cats
-SLP LM....YES IT IS LOUD!
-Rotofab CAI
-Yank SS3200 ..locked

The converter locked , unlocked and again relocked for some reason as you can see by the graph on the final run.

prior tune was cai & full exhaust

new #'s are the addition of a cam, converter and retune

70 rwhp :)

Nice!! Should be in the 11's (or real close to it) if it can hook!

Those G8 exhaust systems are pretty good flowing exhaust systems from the factory. A friend of mine has one and tested how much more power they make with streight pipes and it only picked up 5hp over the stock ones. When we go down to the track with it we put on the streight pipes there, but just for everyday cruising, he keeps the stock ones on it.

Damn good results though! Got any pictures of it? I love the G8's.

They make about 300rwhp from the factory. Not sure about the TQ though.

Wow..if they only make 300rwhp from the factory then with the minimal mods he got 135+ without heads is great.

I do like these cars a lot and wouldn't mind one for a DD.

Yeah, they are awesome cars. It pisses me off knowing that they wont be making new ones much longer.

Actually these cars have been aorund for years already and Holden will continue to make them...they just won't have any here in the US is all.
