It happened in OKC, it's all our local news stations can talk about. The dash cam was recently released.

There seems to be more to the story than what has been released/what people believe.

Im sorry guys but that dash cam makes me feel a little different..grant it the cop i think shoulda followed them to the hospital before pulling the ambulance over but why did the guy jump out of the back the way he did when they obviously didnt have an emergency
..they werent even running theyre lights,,and why would the driver think its a good idea to flip off the cop...what if that trooper was in route to help one of your family members in a life or death emergency?would that change your minds?again im not exactly pro cop but i just think in this instance if you can step back and put yourself in the cops shoes..he got caught up in the moment and made some mistakes but i think the mistakes made by the ambulance driver and then the guy from the back is why it got to that point....
reminds me a little of when i was 22 yrs old,,my wife was pregnant with our first child and she got into a wreck.a stranger called me and said your wife was just in a wreck,,
i knew where she was coming from so i hauled ass over there in my rocket ship (broncoII) to see the car smashed up and her gone in a ambulance..so before the cop could tell me i peeled out and went to the hospital,,long story short i got into a fight with a city popo and got kicked out of the hospital..looking back some years later im able to see my mistakes even though at the time i felt i was in the right...
sorry for the 10 page novel i just couldnt stop typing for some reason,,,like now :hmm::|

Thats F***ed up... I have a ton of respect for police officers and people in uniform, but thats just stupid. That ass hole police officer obviously wasnt responding to anything that important either if he decided its more important to pull over an ambulance with a patient in it going to the hospital rather than dealing with whatever required him to speed and drive like a dumb ass. The ambulance pulled over for him too...
That ass hole should be fired from his job. He abused his power and shouldnt have his job anymore. Hope he gets fired and never gets another job as a police officer again.

The police officer didnt have that big of an emergency either that required his to go that fast and drive like that either. If pulling over an ambulance that is carrying a patient to the hospital (IDC how bad it is either) is more important than whatever else he had to do... Thats not cool. What was the big emergency he had to respond to that required everyone else to get out of his way? IT OBVIOUSLY WASNT IMPORTANT!!!!

you dont know the cop isnt going to an emergency until after the fact
so its ok for the ambulance driver to flip him off and then the guy in the back to jump out like he is gonna jump on somebody..obviously the cop can not assume he is not needed at the call he is going to and only leaves when he finds out he is not needed and pulls the ambulance over for the principle of it...what if it woulda been officer down he was racing to.the ambulance isnt running any emergency lights or sirens...i just think its easy to be closed minded in these things due to the rodney king syndrome..and im a convicted felon and i still feel the cop was in the right,,now i dont think he executed it correctly but the ambulance wasnt a perfect angel for sure

You are correct.. Both sides were wrong, but I feel as though the police officer over reacted way too much and abused his power. I have a ton of respect for police officers and what they do everyday for us, but this clown didnt need to do all that. I could see if he did not have a patient in his car, but the ambulance did and the cop shouldnt have made them stop before going to the hospital. Even if its something minor, if it required medical attention, the cop shouldnt have made them stop after finding that piece of info out and should have handled it after the woman was taken to the hospital.
And its not like the ambulance driver didnt pull over either. That police officer came up real fast. If the ambulance driver gave him the finger... Boo hoo! Should he have done it? NO. But grow up and dont let that kinda crap bother you.

What makes it worse is that all many people based their opinion solely on the short cell phone clip of the cop manhandling the guy. They didn't give any thought to the circumstance or prior events.

This is such bullshit!! I hate pigs!! I have total respect for cops and how they risk their lives everyday. But there are a lot of them who don't abid by the rules and abuse their power, I truly think that is what this cop did here. He got out of his car with an attitude disrespect the driver of the ems.

Like that douchebag cop that kept that NFL player from getting inside the hospital to see his dying mother in-law, whom btw, was dead when he DID finally get inside. :shame:
