I was told by a local guy that the 6.5 Backspacing will work on are car's as long as you don't go massive on the tire? I was looking at running a 26*11.50*15, anyone ever ran this set up? Any problems? I know 7.5 is the correct back spacing we need but if 6.5 work's ill run them

For the track it would be fine, but I would not drive them on the street.

You would have to run a tire that is too small for the rim.

I run my 15x10 6.5" BS draglites with 26x10x15 ET drags on stephs car at the track. The lip of the wheel does not stick out past the wheel well lip, but it comes ALL THE WAY to the lip. Hit a bump too hard during a turn and it will cut the shit out of the tire.

It may not work at all on a lowered car.

The guy that has it done drive's it on the street and his car is lowered on 28's

still a stock rear? if it's a narrowed rear, no problems, but I don't think it'll work with a stock width rear.
