View Full Version : ET Street -Tire Pressure???

Just trying to get a general idea of where to start on the tire pressure with my ET Streets (not radials). They are the 26x11.50-17LT's.
Give me your opinions. TIA!
I've heard anywhere from 13 to 18 psi cold. Start high and work your way down until you hook :)

Just set them to 15 before checking this thread.... Go ahead and stay or raise to 18?

8-25psi.......depends on setup and track

I would raise them... you're going to want the highest psi that you hook at because less pressure in them will slow you down on the big end.
So the highest psi you can hook at, the better

i have had my best passes with 10-13 cold at kcir. havent been to any other tracks to see if its the tracks fault why i have to run them so low

Cool I'll raise them to 18 and see how they hook. Looks like I'm going to have to wait another week as we have a shit ton of rain heading this way from St. Louis:cry:

That sucks.. it's like 95*+ here right now and i sat in a non air conditioned garage today tearing away at my motor some more lol.
I'm usually back in NY for the summer so I'm definitely not accustomed to this
Yeah man, it depends on the prep and track temp, but I've had the best ETs at around 15lbs, best traps with good Ets @ 22-25 cold.Anything over 25 on warm days and 22 on cool nights and she just guts the hole and everything suffers.

I have some friends in Missouri but it wasn't me this time. Man I don't want another car that looks like mine:(
I was actually out in Vegas on Wednesday.
