Well I think I want to get rid of my TTII's and just wondering if you guys could suggest some wheels. I want maybe like a 5 spoke or I really like the style of wheel that pipesTA has. Thinking charcoal but I'm open to about anything it just has to have the option of having something of decent width out back because I'm hooked to the 315 look. Here are some pics of it please help me out.
Matte Black or gunmetal blackbird stripe and eibach pro kit are on the way fyi

Don't get me wrong TT's were my first choice and but I think I'm just getting tired of them. I wish I could afford some CCW's but just can't see me spending 4k on just wheels...

Hmm, there are so many wheels to choose from so I cant really help you out.

I'd say get some Vette wheels, or get some different F-body wheels, but thats already been done and I would think something different would be your best bet.

Don't really want vette wheels, none of them really are that appealling to me. I've been liking the 18 and 19" wheels the more and more I see them.

If you went with a 18" wheel then you could get out the door for less than $4000 for CCW's...Keep an eye on the Sale section and some might pop up FS.

Otherwise do what I did last year...have the centers done in charcaol. I loved the way those looked. I might still try and so them again.

No good pics of them and I sold them when we couldn't get them to fit with a spacer.

I thought they looked a ton better than all polished. I might try and do them again but the proper backspacing.

Here are a couple of the pics I do have.

They were painted to match my intake manifold and CAI. Paint and clear...only had them about a year or so but there was not one chip in them at all. I don't like the idea of heating alum for powercoating. I would rather redo them with paint more often.

Did you paint them or did you have them done?

I had them done. I know a lot will recommend powdercoating which will last longer but they will still chip too. Was was cheaper to paint and I didn't have to have the tires removed in order to do it. When you add in the cost for removing the tires and remount them it all adds up you know

Yeah I know what you mean...it was like $60 to have my tires mounted and balanced for all four. I think they were pissed because they struggled with the 315's though. lol. Did you just take them to a body shop?

Well a local Discount tire quoted me $50 per rim:doh:so that was going to be $400 just to break the tires off and have them remounted...

Larry at Speed hooked me up with the guy that painted my engine bay. But yes any body shop would work too. Make sure you have a reference of the color...I used the Dale Earnhardt GMMG car...

i like the charcoal centers on the above black lt1. also billet specialties are badass and will cost less than $4000.

just keep an eye on for sale ads on ls1tech, regional boards, etc. there's usually a few sets of nice wheels going around for cheaper-than-new.

Yeah I actually was already looking into the color, it was the same color as the Tom Henry Cars had for the wheels. Its a corvette color from 2002, i have it wrote down somewhere...

Yes, those are the same but I believe the Earhnardt car had a little darker paint on it but that could just be difference in pics. I did not use the same code as the wheels just a picture as reference.

So I just got quoted $300-$350 to paint my wheels. What do you think? Too much? I thought it seemed like a little much.
