View Full Version : OK NEW New Drag rims, Greg Welds all around :)!!!

Well it took a shit load of grinding but I finally got them on and the calipers still look plenty strong. Springs still need to settle a bit and Ill be picking up some drag shocks and brakes in the near future to finish it off.
What do you think?

Those look friggin sick! New favorite drag wheel next to telstars! Those look great even with the wheel gap... most drag lites or pro stars look like crap unless they're flush with the wheel wells.

The rear rims are 15x8 w 5.5 BS and the tires are Hoosier QTPs 27x10.5-15s
Keep in mind this took shit loads of grinding and time to make work. Hopefully drag brakes will fit with no mods.

Mike, car looks a ton better with matched wheels vs. the rear pro stars. Did you paint the calipers too for the finishing touches?

Thanks! I painted the rears black, not really for looks but it helped to see where they were still rubbing, Plus side is it does look nice. The fronts were already black

I bought them from a guy on Chitownracing, He had them on a roller but wouldnt sell them, he finally sold the roller without the rims and I jumped on it.
