I am running a Midwest 3000 stall. Worked great with bolt ons but now that I got cam I am thinking of jumping up to a 4000

With all of the bolt-ons (especially headers) you should be spinning the motor to 6000rpm. A 4000 stall will be perfect. Any upgrades you decide to do later such as a cam or cam/heads and the stall will still work for you.

Ditto. Many people, myself included, would suggest the Yank SS3600.

I run a Circle D 4C (3600). Honestly a converter thats atleast 3600 is what you want. A 4000 would an awesome 60', but may want to lay over on the big end.
