Hell no. EBC blue stuff came on my car and I'll never run anything else as long as I can keep getting them. Almost zero brake dust, zero noise, never fade. Love them.

No cheap stuff for me. I feel braking is a essential part of the automobile.

My Hawk HPS+ pads I put on my '94 Z dusted really bad. I was literally using Eagle wheel and tire cleaner every 2 weeks on the wheels to eat the brake dust away.

I'm pretty content with the GM Durastop pads on the SS.

Cheap pads are just that, cheap. I have always used Raybestos Carbon Ceramic pads and they worked great. Next time I do my brakes I'll be getting Hawk pads for sure, and C6 blanks

I have cheapies on my truck... but only cause I was sticking on some used rotors and didn't want to waste my EBC pads. I won't buy the cheapest... but I'll buy the 2nd cheapest for temporary use :D

The plan is some nice rotors at all 4 corners, then put on the nice pads. Till then, it stops fine... but may have more fade. Then again, I have LS1 brakes at all four corners... rear HAD drums, front HAD 10in brakes... so any pad is a step up.

I have hawk pads up front and while they dust a lot, they do not make any noise.

I used cheap autozone pads in the rear seeing as cars are front biased on the brakes and at the time I was planning on going to the track a lot and didn't have a linelock so I wasnt going to fry 60-80$ pads doing burnouts.

The autozones work just fine in the rear

Did the vette calipers bolt right up with the stock rotors? :metal:
