im gonna delete my air system soon but dont have time before 2morow morning when i leave for a trip. I have off road headers now and i was told that the two rubbers hoses that stick up on both sides of the air box need to be plugged up in the mean time or it will make the car undrivable. if this is the case what can i plug them up with? any ideas? i get off at 7am and am leaving around 11am for a 550mile trip with the car.

This is something you plan a week or more before a long trip! I'd imagine some kind of plastic or metal cap of some kind. For my EGR blockoff plate I took a roof nail, cut it down, and JB Welded it to the plate itself. Works fantastic!
Take a trip to Lowe's/Home Depot/etc and see what they got. If I were you, I'd take a roll of duct tape with.

yep go to the bolt section of one of those stores as stated above// but dont use plastic it will melt? hello its a header haha. and. i dont know y it would run like crap if you had the air system on there? bit if you got those bolts (they are some sort of like a half bolt with like a top that you would tighten with a cresent wrench) it will be easy :) well not easy but it should not take too long nothing is easy with these lt1s :D

if its rubber hose you could always find something in the plumbing section at lowes.....thats what my plumber instincts tell me anyways
