So pretty soon I will be gettin the car repainted, cuz it needs it!!

My car used to be silver, but I got it painted DSG.

I miss silver and I think I wanna go back, but I want some opinions.

Also the car wont have the grill, that already broke off lol.

sooo what looks better silver or dsg??

What?! If you think she needs a repaint, you need to take a better look at mine!

Anyways, both colors look good. I think silver looks a little more "rugged" which I like. DSG is more.. "pretty~lah-dee-dah" if that makes sense :D

I could tell it had been butchered lol. The DSG is obviously something you dont see everyday but Sebring Silver is one of my favorites on 4th gen Fbodys. Looks really good all cleaned up for sure.

What color are the door jams?

I'd stick with DSG just to be different. Silver will be looking stock again. If you want it lighter, I'd go with one of the darker silvers from the C5s.

I totally agree. If the jams and under the hood are DSG, keep it that way. If you are going to go through the trouble of painting the entire car again, keep it custom. I personally like Spiral Metallic Gray used on 03-04 C5's.

I like the DSG color.

Looks great and is something you dont see everyday. My vote would be to keep it how it is. Plus, painting it would probibly cost a few thousand dollars unless you know someone who does it and would give you a break on the price. Think of all the parts you could buy for your Camaro to make it go faster instead of taking an already good paint job and changing its color...

Go with something different but the same. Instead of a GM color, and if you like silver, why not look at VW's "Reflex" silver??? VERY active silver, one of the best I've seen. Suzuki "Crystal" silver is another awesome one. Or for the darker, what about the Lexus "Dark Graphite Grey Metallic" paint?? That's another killer color.

Silver options: Sebring silver........... Thats it.

If we go back to silver, it HAS to go back to the stock silver. I do not wnat to hear "I liked it better when it was sebring silver"

Grey options:
The DSG on the Camaro is not EXACTLY the same as the factory DSG on our Cobra, it looks good, but does not have the "POP" like the factory color. The paint that was used was fairly inexpensive and it is starting to show whay with age. When it get's re done, we will be using a much better quality paint.

Better pics of the current color:

True. It is unique.

I've always liked silver on Camaro's and you see so few of them. If the car had been white, or red, or black then I'm on board with the DSG for sure. I was just kind of sad when I realized her car had previously been silver...

I really do think either color looks good.

Yeah.. I'm not sure if I've ever seen a silver Camaro in the RL. But I've actually seen quite a few dark grey ones similar to DSG, so silver stands out to me.

Come on Steph, we both know you are painting it white.

haha, I'd just get the bumper/hood fixed, as it'd be quite a bit cheaper than repainting the whole car.

Stick with the DSG. As many have said, the color is very unique. I even run across your car on other forums and the poster always seems to like it as well. Case in point: See Here (http://www.camaroz28.com/forums/showthread.php?t=686547)

Hope it sways you to keep the color. I have always been very fond of it. There aren't many cars immediately identifiable when running across them different places.
