ls6 intake, ls1 cam, bolt on's, 4:10's, a4 ls1 vs my 12.20 bolt on lt1 on the streeetttzzzzzz. we did 2 15ish rolls each race he has a lil under 2 ish on me. my 1st-2nd its a good race then the ls juan top end takes over :frustrated: we did to digs and it has about the same results. i hooked good but bogged bad bc i launched so low bc i didnt think i would hook :face_shocked:. good times fo sho!

There are some really impressive cam only ls1s', just as there are some very poor running H/C ls1s that are lucky to break 11:laugh:

I'ts all about geeting everything to work together and putting the power down efficiently:metal:

11's is nothing for an LS1 car. With just a cam swap/bolt ons they can trap 120-124. Theres a local car here that I've seen click off a 10.81 at 123 with a cam swap, 9" rear end, tune, stage 5 built 4L60E and some 28" radials and the usual bolt-ons.

Your average cam swap/bolt on LT car should be a good second slower. But, who cares because our torque curve pwns that of an LS1.

that list and my mods to my old LT are the reasons for my LS1 swap... but the LT1 torque is also the reason my old LT has YET to leave the pallet in my shop, theres future plans for that if i get a 96 SS early next year ill probably put the driveline of my car in the SS and sell the LS1 swapped car. or swap the LS to the 96 and DD it and build the hell out of my LT

See I thought we were talking about stock everything and only a cam swap. Guess I didn't read the thread right. I saw some pretty tall gears and high stalls on that list which would make sense. Bolt on's and cam swaps. Got it. :)

"cam only" is a common term for a car that has a cam installed and still has stock heads and is stock CI. It can be full bolt ons, full supension. As long as it still has the stock heads and is still a 346, its considered cam only.
