im replacing my opti in the next week or two car is ready for the swap but i have a pretty bad oil leak on the timing chain cover. now can i just replace that gasket or what?

Is it the cover gasket leaking, or one of the three seals on the cover gasket??? I'd try to avoid removing the cover if at all possible, to do it correctly and NOT tear the oil pan gasket you have to drop the front of the oil pan. The other three seals (water pump, opti, and crank) can all be replaced with the cover in place.

i just went and checked the other seals out guess i didnt notice the water pump seal was leaking, all well ill just replace the seals on the cover for now, ill wait to do cover gasket later, i might pull motor by end of year to rebuild
