Car in sig. minus the CAI. I ran a stock box and tube that day with a K&N.
Dynocom dyno. I think I gave up some power not using a CAI and not having a dyno tune. Unknown A/F.
Someone commented my cc987 valvetrain springs were hurting me. :hmm: Anyone care to comment if the newer Patroit golds would help much?

Looks low on power, but the dyno is real smooth and its got a nice flat TQ curve, so i dont think the springs are causing valve float. CAI will help a ton.

Seems like your power fell off aweful steep even b/f 6k rpm, might be some valve float there.
With a CAI and dyno tune you'd see way better #'s, but the torque curve still looks great, more low end than I expected.

Thanks for the replys. The car does have a bunch of torque and it's comes on early. It's a great setup for a DD street car imo. Just wanting over 400rwhp so I can put a 450hp sticker on my hood. :)
I am thinking my stock intake tube hit it's limits at around 5800rpm. I am going to take it to a Dynojet dyno without changing anything and get a wideband hooked up. Then I am going to run it without the stock tube and see what happens.

Did anyone else notice the hp and tq lines on the dyno sheet dont cross at 5252 rpm? Eric L

Before you doubt people you should probably know a little more about dynos
The lines will only cross at 5252rpms if the tq and hp are scaled to the same intervals. If you look at the graph the tq is scaled to 450 ft/lbs whereas the horsepower is scaled to 400whp

I agree with ACHotRod, it looks low on power, my 355ci 503 cam only car made 351hp/355tq through a catback. I've had the heads milled but I don't have the LE3 stage heads you do or the 30lb injectors.
I'd take the car and get it dyno tuned. There's something there that isn't presenting itself. I'd expect to see numbers closer to 400hp and 380ish tq.
ninja edit: definitely thought this thread was more recent...whoops. ha.

Check A/F and get a tune. How many miles on the springs? They should hold up to that cam.

I don't think there is anything wrong according to comps website that cam has an operating range of 1800 to 5800 which is right where it peaks on the dyno graph. I would chosen a much better cam for those heads your leaving a lot on the table in my opinion. I would find a cam that peaks somewhere around 6800 to 7000 and have some fun.

Ya you need to get a good tune, there are a few shops in Detroit that can do that unfortunately not many. Talk to Stenod or PFE see if they can do something.
Engineering Victories messed up a friend of mines tune up really bad and vector motorsports blew my head gaskets for not cooling it right. I got tuning software for you if you want to take a crack at it yourself.
