The car is hard to launch. I have bad wheel hop that Im hoping some LCA relocation brackets will fix. Also my posi is shot and once my one wheel peel starts it dont stop unless I coast about 20 feet. Im not gonna see a better 60' until I fix that.

Im kinda dissapointed in the trap speed though, I was hoping to hit 100.

My mods are: Flowmaster catback, 373s, and a cold air intake. According to the prior owner the car has a tune for the nitrous so im guessing there may be a little timing pulled, idk for a fact though.

Im suprized you didnt run better on the 2.1 60ft run. Not the slowest car, how was it hookin?

Basically if it hooked it stayed hooked, but as you can see with that one bad run once it started spinning it wouldnt stop, but it could be the lane, the bad run was in the left lane and all the others in the right.

Car just doesnt seem to have near the pull my old formula had but it did have a lot more done to it than this one.
That 2.1 60' is the best I will get the way the car sits. It was my first run that night and ended up being my best, but the car was hot and didnt trap as high as the later runs.

The car runs perfect though, not to rich and doesnt miss any. It pulls all the way to 5800rpms so Im pretty sure im not going lean. Has a newer opti cap and rotor so that shouldnt have anything to do with it. Im gonna install my roller rockers and try to find a cheap set of headers, and some lca relocations brackets and see if I can crack 100mph and maybe see a 13.

Im also not one to make excuses but a lot of faster cars up there were running slower than I thought they should be.

There was a new G8 GXP 6 speed car that these guys ran over 10 times and could only get a 14.1 out of it. A couple ls1 cars were there and didnt crack into the 13s either. Alot of guys there needed the driver mod to. A cammed ls2 GTO with drag radials couldnt get out of the 14s. lol.

It was hot and humid, but i dont know how much that affected my car.

Its odd that some cars wheel hop and others dont. I havent ever had any problems wheels hopping and now that I have the LCA brackets on I really dont see me having an issue. Get a set of headers on that car and you're good to go!

Main reason for wheel hop is that it is lowered. My firebird never hopped. I feel that with a new posi in the rear and no wheel hop I could definitly pull off a 1.9 60' as easy as I was taking off the way the car is now.
