well i pull up to a light where the lane ends an 1/8th mile ahead. i am next to a new G6 so i know i had my work cutout for me.
plus the roads were a bit slick so the launch was key. we see green and we both go! i pull him through 2nd gear by about 3/4 car, and hold him there. well i have it to the floor and as we approach the point in which the lane ends, i already had my signal on. so i slowly change lanes, needless to say he gave me some room.
I think he was so embarrassed that he stayed back about 4 cars as we slowed down.
now u are thinkin' ...what u beat a G6, whoopty do! well the key to all of this is what i was driving at the time. i have a "daily commuter" that i drive. it is an 94 Chev. Beretta with 124,000 miles on the clock. it does have a 3.1 and is tuned up. funny thing is the car looks like a complete turd, both front fenders rotting away, hit behind the dr. door at teh B pillar location. no hub caps, with rusting 14" steelies and dayton tires. :jest:
my truvk gets a nie rest daily, lol!!!
