Strange 12 Bolt Help

Ok, finally got some pics of the rear that will come with a project car I am considering buying, but first im trying to see what all im gonna have to do to make this rear work. Owner says the pinion nut backed off and it chewed up the ring and pinion gears a little and all it needs are new gears. He had it inspected and thats what they told him.

Anybody on here know a lot about rears, because I dont.

heres a pic, doesnt look to good. Kinda looks like metal shavings in the bottom.

Basically, what would need to be done for me to put this into my car? Will it need a complete rebuild with new bearings and a new posi unit?

The posi unit might be fine but i would do a complete rebuild.(posi,gears and bearings)

Do you know about how much that would cost? I dont think Strange has any prices on their website.

gears 140-200 (depending on ratio and brand)
installation kit 100
and for the same differential thats in the strange rear is 470
