Will were to start. With my rx7 having a 95 LT1 swap I ran the RX7 alternator for 2 years and it work good. But you can not just get them any were and I wanted to clean up my engine bay and so I went to a GM one wire set up and put the alternator in a new spot. Down low Passenger side of the motor. It work good but now I have gone through 4 alternator. They are not new but they are remanufactured. Ever thing work good my volt gauge says 12 to 14 volts and then a 3 week later it goes to shit. So now I am thinking of try a NEW one and see what happens. Any idea that might help.

Go with a 160amp this time. You may need to buy a new altenator mount though

The mount was custom made.

What electronics are you running? things like electronic fuel pump and stuff tend to draw more than what a factory alt can handle.

Just a basic 10" sub and amp. However, I'm off a 105amp stock altenator. Technically, that should be fine on you car, but I'm not sure of the electronics you are powering
