I went along with a buddy looking for 4 lug Cobra Rs and found a way better deal than he did, which was nothing LOL

I bought LS1 spindles, wheel bearings, rotors, upper control arms, and 1 caliper for $40. All I need is a caliper and a bracket and I'll be set. I'm going to sand blast the spindles and 1 caliper bracket I have tomrrow and paint them black and start the swap after I get new tie rod ends, lower ball joints, rotors, caliper, and brake pads

1 question I have is which braided lines should I get? LS1 or LT1 lines? I have heard that both will work, but which one is the best?

And if anyone has a caliper and a bracket PM me, I'll be ebay hunting for now

But overall I think I got a killer deal and can't wait for some better brakes, mine were absolutely cooked and I just about got everything to rework the stockers last weekend, I'm really glad I waited :D

I used Earl's braided lines intended for LS1 cars. I dunno if they're better than the LT1 lines, but they work just fine for me.

Well I have heard that you can use either, but I wanted to know which ones were better or if it really mattered.

I'll just see how my lines fit and go from there.

Thanks for the reply man

Use the LS1 lines. I do believe they have a specific banjo bolt.

Can anyone else comment on this???

I can get new LS1 lines, but my lines are about perfect and was going to use them until I could afford to get stainless lines
