Hey guys,
Been slowly trying to make it a point to offer more advice and help now that my LT1 swap is winding down. I wish I would have documented more but I still have it all up here in my head so feel free to tap me on the shoulder any time you guys have a question in relation to FBody v6 -> LT1 swap. :)
I've made a consolidated album of my project here to share. Let me know what you guys think! :metal: I started out with the v6 removal barely knowing which way to turn a wrench to loosen or tighten... and while I still suck at remembering "lefty loosey, righty tighty" I've learned a hell of a lot along the way. :hail:

Did you have any clearance issues with your Canton VC's?

Nope, not at all. The Cantons are sweet - absolutely love them.

Yeah.. that's the current plan. Have to be bored because the cylinder walls were slightly scored.
Sunday was busy - backed the car in the garage at 10am and started tearing the car apart. Had the engine dropped out of the bottom by 4pm and down to only the front accessories, crank, and pistons left on the block. The bearings felt like a freaking vinyl record with all the grooves in them. :(

Oh well, hopefully should be dropping it off at a machine shop this week and have it back in time to rebuild it and have the engine back in the car by the end of May.
Your car suddenly became sweet out of nowhere! Too bad for your luck though.
How about that 383ci? :)

God - would love to! $$$ is going to be my biggest restriction, though. At this point in time, every single dollar going towards getting the car on the road before the end of May will be borrowed money thanks to my awesome, awesome dad. Can't even begin to explain how much I owe him already for all the time and work he's done on this project. It was 100% financed by me up until this point, but I've stretched myself thin for a few months and he's willing to pick up the tab until I can pay him back.
