how about the bgoodrich drag radial? and also would a 255/50/R16 work on my car? without modding the wheel well?

I have the MT ET Streets 255/50 on my salad shooters and they hook well and I'm pushing 400+ rwhp. If you're on the factory 10 bolt any sticky tire will probably kill it. I'm lucky and I haven't blown mine up yet.

255 will be fine, BFG is a decent tire but IMO the M/T radial will hook better. The BFG may last slighty longer for DD use but it's also got less tread to start with than the M/T.:hmm:

I'll be running ET Streets....again.

Never had a problem with them, always hooked great and were decent on the street.

Don't have any experience with the BFG's, I've been deep into the 11's with my old Z28 on ET streets but the 10 bolt is pretty much made of glass so be careful, I'd start building or saving for a 9", S60, 12 bolt ect now if I were you. ;)

And like everyone else said 255's will be fine, I'm running 275/40/17's all around right now with no fender modification.
