Can anyone tell me what hose this is that goes on the waterpump... I need to replace it, but It looks like it attaches to a metal hose. can you just buy the hose or do you have to replace the hose plus all the metal tubing and the rest of the hose?

Heater core hose. You have to replace the whole thing.

is there anyway you could cut the hose and put another hose the same size together with it that would actually seal up? and work? I need it fixed quick ...

Are you dleting the heater core? If so you can get some block off caps at autozone or another parts store to cap that fitting and the one on the radiator.

No I'm not deleting the heater core, the belt actually put a slice in the hose I wonder if there is a way to patch that little portion of the hose where it would seal up? I don't really feel like buying the whole hose it would be a pain in the ass to replace the whole thing

Yes, they make hose repair kits. Go to AutoZone and they will have the "Help" line of products on a stand or display. The repair kit is simply a 3" long metal tube with some ridged ends and 2 hose clamps. You simply cut the hose right where the leak is and then insert the tube 1+1/2" in to each piece and then clamp it down.
The kits are about 6 bucks

You can replace the whole hose, but you have to cut the metal part where it's swedged on. Might be easier to do like joelster said though.

why would you have to cut anything? there are just metal clamps that you squeeze with pliers and slide to the end of the hose once you slip it over the pump. unless you mean up by the heater core.

Yeah, not the end that goes on the water pump. The other end thats goes to the metal tubing, there is no clamp, it's swedged on.
