To polish or not to polish...

So a buddy of mine got his silver wheels polished for $300. that included them stripping the paint off, polishing, and then clear coating. they then remounted and balanced the tires.

should i do this? It will remove all blemishes in the finish, and i always wanted these wheels in polished rather than silver but i got them for cheap.

if i do this i will need to find some matching center caps.

I personally like the silver paint on the wheels. If i do anything with mine it will be to paint them black and polish the rim. But its just a matter of preference really.

I do think 300 bucks is a good deal to do all that though.

thanks guys. so far you guys agree with what i was thinking. i originally wanted polished wheels, but now that i have silver they really seem to go well.

Damn man. Though the 300 is a good deal, I bet you could just buy those in chrome for a litttttttttttle bit more.

I like them the way they are. Fro some reason, those wheels just don't look right when they are polished or chromed.

chrome or a polished rim stands out alot no doubt but on red that silver rim def stands out like no other and makes that red look sick as hell, because personally i dont like red but i do like your car..
